Roles and Responsibilities:
Must be able to commit to 15-20 hours per week - with the possibility to transition to full-time (Ideally, we are looking for someone to start as part-time and progress into a full-time position).
Review and critique application documents and provide feedback to help students improve their applications.
Conduct mock interviews + provide feedback to improve interview performance of our students.
Source and refer minimum of one A-player type colleague who would make an excellent consultant every 6 months.
Continuously demonstrate a genuine passion for mentoring our students and improving our overall operations and impact as a company (i.e. This will not be just a part-time job/side source of income to you).
For full-time track individuals (preferred): possibility of role expansion for the suitable candidate to product management or department management.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
Must hold an MD/DO from a US or Canadian university with no active practice and no plans to continue practice because we would like to hire someone as part-time and then transition them to a full-time role.
Must be able to dedicate 20 hours per week consistently.
Must have excellent writing skills and track record.
Required Skills:
Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
Abundantly humble and coachable.
Ability to plan in advance and anticipate any possible setbacks including conflicting demands as a medical student or resident.
Excellent verbal communications and writing skills.
Proactive and self-motivated; ability to take initiative.
Ability to act independently with very little supervision and great work ethics.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Demonstrate a growth mindset (e.g., embrace latest technology, innovate methods/tools, etc).
