Overview:

We're an EdTech company that helps students navigate the maze of higher education admissions to become world-class professionals. The MCAT Instructor will join our team to work directly with our students who need help in preparing for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).  

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Help our students prepare for one section of the MCAT
• Work from anywhere

Requirements:

• You must currently hold a PhD, MD, or DO, or be in the process of completing your PhD, MD, or DO (PhD/MD/DO Student)
• Must be able or willing to become an absolute expert in one section of the MCAT, preferably in the Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems (CPBS) or Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems (BBLS) section(s) of the MCAT
• Ability to work independently and participate in self-directed learning  
• Must be highly tech savvy
• We ask successful applicants to not work for other test prep companies

• True understanding of fast-paced and result orientation. We roll up our sleeves when behind in our sprints to get the work done even if it's holidays, evenings and weekends because our students matter and speed is everything.
• Must be looking for a long-term role and not looking for a "stepping stone" short-term gig
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized
• Extremely humble and eager to learn
• Excellent verbal communications and writing skills
• Ability to act independently with very little supervision and have a great work ethic
• Managerial attitude taking full responsibility for assigned roles
• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Must have access to a quiet private room with a door that's noise and distraction free and access to an ergonomic chair and desk
• Must have access to high speed and reliable Internet with minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.

Our Hiring Process:

Our hiring process includes a review of your application, a skills assessment test, a virtual interview and lastly, a face-to-face interview with select members of our team via video conference, followed finally by reference calls.
