Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth – Location: Hanover, NH

Founded in 1797, Dartmouth's mission is to address the world’s health problems through research and discovery, the evaluation and improvement of systems of healthcare, and the education of the best future physicians and scientists. Each year, Dartmouth receives roughly 7000 applicants that compete for roughly 90 available spots. Most of Dartmouth's applicants, nearly 95%, come from out of state.

Prerequisite courses

Two semesters of general biology and general physics

Four semesters of chemistry including one semester of organic chemistry and one semester of biochemistry

Excellent written and spoken English

Admission statistics
