"When should I start working on my med school application?"

This is a question we often hear from our students here at BeMo. And it is a very good question to ask because premed students who are serious about getting into med school, are always actively planning ahead and those are the ones that usually get in to multiple schools. (Yes, multiple schools!)

In our experience, an outstanding application, (and you should only aim for an outstanding application given the fierce competition), requires multiple revisions in a span of 4 months.

Therefore if you are applying to med school in the upcoming spring/summer, the time to start working on your application is right NOW.

You should already be thinking about the dreaded personal statement, your response to the question, "Why do you want to be a doctor?" and your academic and non-academic activities that you want to highlight in your work/activity sketch. You should also be thinking about choosing referees that are going to support your application.

The good news is that we have just opened up registration for our much sought-after application review programs.

The bad news is that we only have a limited number of spots available, and when they are gone, they are gone for good.

Seize the moment.

To your success,

What are you recommendations in writing a letter of interest and your experiences that relate to the graduate program applying to? Can you help with putting those types of responses together?
