Prompt: Describe your involvement in the one most important non-academic activity in your life. (800 characters)

When I moved to college, I suffered from back pain and gastrointestinal stress. I lost thirty pounds in the first few months. To improve my situation, I started exercising at the gym every day. My life drastically changed with improvements in physical appearance, mental health, and grades. I learned to prioritize taking care of my physical and mental health. Going to the gym improved my life and has contributed to my resilience.

After a friend complained about back pain due to an abnormally shaped L4 vertebra, I started coaching her on stabilizing her core for a healthier spine and better posture. From this experience, I learned that it is important to share insights and continually look out for one another.
