Prompt: Describe a problem in your life. Include how you dealt with it and how it influenced your growth. (500 characters)

From the time that I was a child until my Junior year of high school, I was the shortest child in my class. By the time I reached high school, I had enough. I adopted a stoic mindset, dismissing the qualities outside of my control, like my height, and shifted my focus toward those inside of my control. This shift changed my view on life and motivated me to pursue a career helping others who feel defenseless in situations beyond their control, as I did at this point in my life.
